Our Story

The Carrington Property Group was developed in 2024 by Sam Carrington after 6 years in the construction industry with our founding company Carrington Renovations & Build. We realised there was a high demand not only for renovating houses and businesses but also for maintenance and cleaning services.

 

In 2025 our maintenance company was established Carrington Property Services and Management, this evolved from our extensive client base with local businesses, we worked attentively creating tailored maintenance packages to accommodate their needs.

 

We then developed Carrington Cleaning Services to provide a comprehensive service to streamline day to day business operations. With an outstanding portfolio and reputation we pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality services in Surrey & Hampshire by a family run business.

Sam Carrington

Director - The Carrington Property Group

Hi, I’m Sam, Director of The Carrington Property Group - part time builder, part time problem solver, and full time coffee drinker. I started this business because I love turning piles of materials into something people can actually live or work in (and because Lego sets just weren’t cutting it anymore!).

When I’m not on site making sure walls are straight and roofs don’t leak, I’m probably talking too much about tools or convincing clients that yes, duct tape can fix almost anything. My goal? To build things that last longer than my jokes… and that’s saying something.

 

All joking aside, in 2019 after being a manager of a music school in Hampshire for 7 years I decided to start a new venture Carrington Renovations & Build in the construction industry. Within a year the client base grew drastically via word of mouth in both the domestic and commercial sector. After 6 years I wanted to expand the business which led to the development of Carrington Property Services & Management (Maintenance Company) and Carrington Cleaning Services (Cleaning Company).

 

With a passion for quality and an eye for detail we have built a reputation for delivering work of the highest standards that's not just structurally sound but also tailored to each of our clients needs.

Janie Carrington

Operations Manager - Carrington Renovations & Build/Carrington Property Services & Management

Hi, I’m Janie, the Operations Manager here at Carrington Renovations & Build and Carrington Property Services & Management. From juggling schedules and wrangling materials to keeping the crew (mostly) on time, my job is a bit like herding cats…  if the cats wore hard hats and carried power tools.

I’ve got a knack for problem solving, a love of strong coffee, and a sixth sense for spotting when someone’s “five-minute break” is pushing ten.

It's not been plain sailing due to typical stereotypes (being a girl) but I have survived 15 years in the construction industry and plan to do many more!

Stuart Cobb

Director - Carrington Cleaning Services

Hi, I’m Stuart, the Director of Carrington Cleaning Services - which is just a fancy way of saying I’m in charge of dirt… and getting rid of it. I like to think of myself as the “CEO of Clean,” the “Boss of the Mop,” and the undefeated champion of spotting fingerprints on glass from 10 feet away.

I started this company because I genuinely enjoy cleaning (yes, I’m one of those people), and because I thought it would be easier than doing it all for free at my house. Spoiler: it’s not easier, but at least now I get paid for my obsession with spotless floors.

When I’m not making sure our clients’ spaces are sparkling, I’m usually laughing at my own bad jokes, dancing with a hoover, or reminding everyone that “dust bunnies” are not pets.

Basically, if it’s dirty, I’ll clean it. And if it’s already clean, I’ll probably clean it again just to be safe.

Lucy Carrington

HR Manager - The Carrington Property Group

Hi, I’m Lucy, the HR Manager here at The Carrington Property Group - this makes me the referee, therapist, and occasional snack provider for the team and my two siblings (Sam and Janie). My job is to handle all the serious stuff: contracts, policies, and making sure no one lists “beer o’clock” as their preferred working hours.

Honestly, half my job is making sure the crew doesn’t wear shorts in December, and the other half is convincing them that hard hats aren’t a fashion statement.

If you’ve ever wondered who’s behind all the paperwork that keeps this place from turning into pure chaos… it’s me. Well… me and Google.

Operations Manager - Carrington Cleaning Services

Hi, I’m Jackie, Operations Manager at Carrington Cleaning Services - I'm the person who turns chaotic messes into sparkling sanctuaries, fueled by a fierce love for clean spaces and a healthy obsession with microfiber cloths. 

As the lead for the cleaning crew, I specialize in transforming the 'ick' into 'wow,' with a side of witty banter. I hold a deep reverence for order and a PhD in 'Spot-ology' from the University of Whatever Was Dirtiest Last Week. My mission is to make sure your space isn't just clean, it's so clean you could perform surgery on it. 

My passion is creating spotless environments where people can thrive, and my personal secret is a deep appreciation for a well-organized supply closet.
